Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech – Draa valley – Zagora desert

At the agreed time and at the indicated place, our guide will pick us up and, on board a minibus, we will start the excursion. We will leave in the direction of Ouarzazate, passing through Tiz’n’Tichka (or port of Tichka), the highest road stop in Morocco with more than 2,200 meters above sea level, during the tour we will enjoy some incredible landscapes: during the rise, green colors predominate that will be replaced by the almost lunar landscape of the anti-Atlas with the desert in the background. At the end of the descent we will leave Ouarzazate behind and head towards the city of Agdz, crossing the port of Tizi N’Tinifift (1,660 meters), a succession of steep mountains of black and gray rock of unusual beauty from which we can contemplate an incomparable panoramic of the Draa Valley. Little by little we will go into the majestic palm grove of the Draa Valley, the largest palm grove in Africa with more than 150 kilometers in length, marked by kasbah, villages and orchards. We will leave the road to take a track that will introduce us to the heart of the palm grove and after the journey we will finally reach Zagora, the arrival point of the caravans from the mythical Timbuktu. From here, and before sunset, whenever the time and circumstances of the trip allow, we will go to the point where the Berber haimas camp is located, where we will spend the night. It is highly recommended to go accompanied by a backpack with a change of clothes, not be able to carry suitcases on this trip. Upon our arrival and after having a welcome tea, we will contemplate a sunset that we will never forget. To end the day we will have another wonderful experience, which will be to dine in the heat of the bonfire. Now it’s time to rest and we’ll do it wrapped in an immense mantle of stars, a unique and indescribable experience, that we have to live. Dinner and accommodation

DAY 2: DESERT-ZAGORA-AIT BEN HADDOU-TAOUIRIT-MARRAKECH

Today it’s time to get up early so you can enjoy the sunrise in the desert, to enjoy the day as it is born and little by little the desert wakes up filled with light wrapped in an incredible silence. After the experience, we will have breakfast and start our journey aboard our minibus to undo the road we had traveled the previous day to Ouarzazate. For this we will go through the Draa Valley, the largest in Morocco, towards Agdz and Ouarzazate. We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the most beautiful and best preserved kasbah in Morocco, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and the site of a multitude of film productions.
